What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Bloom?
Join our team! We are a brand new modern, bistro style breakfast and lunch restaurant located in the heart of Santa Clara, CA. We serve new and exciting breakfast and lunch dishes with a unique and modern twist. We have a full bar and feature craft cocktails that pair well with both our breakfast and lunch plates. We are looking for motivated individuals who have a passion for food, ambiance, , and will provide an exceptional dining experience for our customers. We are seeking servers with at least 3 years of experience; fine dining experience is a plus.
Our Servers are extremely are not only key members of our team but also extremely important to us. They're responsible for setting the tone and ensuring that our customers have the best dining experience possible. It is imperative that s/he is hardworking, polite, accommodating, and extremely professional. We are looking for serves who take pride in their job and role. It is incredibly important that our servers take initiative and are able to deal with high volume. A warm personality and high energy are also preferred. Punctuality and patience are a must. S/he should also have a passion for the food industry and hospitality. That being said, it is crucial that s/he is a team player, has the ability to multitask and can remain composed under pressure, as both are culture and integrity are a priority.
Our goal is to provide a great team culture and a positive working environment. It cannot be emphasized enough that every employee is on-board and working to provide the highest level of customer service possible at all times. English fluency is required, ability to speak other languages is a plus. Experience is REQUIRED. Please keep in mind that the start date would be in about two weeks. Ability to work weekends is a must. Our hours of operation are 8 am to 2:30 pm, Wednesday through Sunday. Please make sure that you are available during these hours if you are interested in this position. Compensation is $17.20 per hour.
