Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level personal and executive support to the Principal, serving as a trusted right hand who helps keep personal, family, household, and business priorities organized and on track.
- Manage calendars, scheduling, reminders, and time management across personal, family, and studio-related commitments, ensuring the week ahead is clearly organized and communicated.
- Coordinate personal and family logistics, including school applications, camp sign-ups, errands, appointments, Amazon returns, dry cleaning, package management, pet appointments, and other day-to-day needs.
- Plan and coordinate travel for the principal and family, including occasional collaboration with other executive support staff on schedules and logistics.
- Support household management by coordinating with vendors, property managers, and service providers, addressing repairs or maintenance needs, comparing options, and helping resolve issues as they arise.
- Assist with occasional family and childcare-related logistics, such as school pickups, drop-offs, and special moments for the children, while working alongside existing household support.
- Support studio operations by assisting with client presentations, visual materials, sample coordination, plan printing, client pitch preparation, and sample closet organization.
- Act as an extension of the principal in both personal and professional settings, anticipating needs, tracking priorities, and helping ensure details are handled thoughtfully and efficiently.
- Help coordinate occasional offsites, meetings, gatherings, and household or studio-related events.
- Take on additional personal, household, family, and studio-related projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a personal assistant, executive assistant, household manager, studio assistant, or similar support role.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple personal, family, household, and professional priorities at once.
- Calm, optimistic, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to handle last-minute changes, moving pieces, and unexpected issues without becoming frazzled.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to think ahead, anticipate needs, create systems, and stay several steps ahead of the principal.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to over-communicate reminders, updates, schedules, and upcoming priorities clearly and thoughtfully.
- High emotional intelligence, strong discretion, and the ability to read the room, adapt to different situations, and build trust in an intimate support role.
- Service-oriented mindset with a “no task is too small” attitude and genuine willingness to help with both high-level priorities and everyday details.
- Warm, comfortable, and natural around children, with flexibility to assist with occasional school pickups, drop-offs, and family logistics.
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to take ownership of projects from start to finish.
- Interested in a long-term role with the potential to grow as the business and team continue to expand.
