Business Developer – Commercial Landscape Maintenance

Compensation: $70,000–$85,000 base commission
OTE: $125,000–$180,000
Bloom Partners Talent Solutions is partnered with a leading commercial landscape provider seeking a driven Business Developer to grow recurring maintenance revenue across the Raleigh market.
This is a true hunter role focused on new logo acquisition, territory expansion, and building long-term relationships with commercial property decision-makers. The right candidate will be competitive, self-directed, and motivated by winning new business.
About the Role
The Business Developer will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new commercial maintenance opportunities throughout the Raleigh market. This person will build a qualified pipeline, target high-value commercial accounts, and partner closely with operations leadership to ensure a smooth handoff after the sale.
Target clients may include corporate campuses, commercial portfolios, HOAs, multifamily properties, industrial sites, institutional facilities, property managers, asset managers, and facilities directors.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a territory growth strategy for the Raleigh market
Prospect, qualify, and close new commercial landscape maintenance contracts
Build relationships with property managers, asset managers, facility directors, and commercial decision-makers
Maintain disciplined CRM usage, pipeline tracking, and follow-up cadence
Collaborate with the branch and operations leadership to ensure service delivery alignment
Represent the company professionally in the Raleigh business community
Drive new annual contract value and support long-term account retention after onboarding
First-Year Expectations
Build a qualified and sustainable pipeline within the first 90–120 days
Create consistent monthly prospecting activity
Generate new annual contract value through recurring maintenance sales
Establish strong relationships with key commercial property contacts
Work closely with operations to ensure sold work can be delivered successfully
Qualifications
5 years of B2B sales experience
Proven success in new business development, prospecting, and closing new accounts
Experience in commercial landscaping, facility services, janitorial, roofing, HVAC, pest control, waste management, building services, or another field-service industry preferred
Strong pipeline management and CRM discipline
Comfortable working in a performance-driven compensation model
Competitive, resilient, organized, and self-motivated
Ability to work independently while partnering with branch and regional leadership

Base Salary: $70,000–$85,000
Commission: $50,000–$100,000
OTE: $125,000–$180,000
