Responsibilities
- Welcome families and children warmly, creating an inviting environment that encourages play, connection, and social interaction
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, and light snacks while maintaining quality, consistency, and food safety standards
- Assist with guest check-in, waivers, and support families with questions about activities or café offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the space, including routine cleaning and sanitization of café surfaces, play areas, and high-touch points
- Assist with setup and reset of play areas and café stations to ensure a smooth daily flow
- Monitor the play space for safety concerns or incidents, responding promptly and appropriately as needed
- Restock café supplies and maintain an organized, efficient workspace
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere that supports both childhood development and a welcoming experience for caregivers
Skills
- Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom environments
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones
- Ability to manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques
- First aid certification and experience providing basic medical assistance when necessary
- Compassionate caregiver with experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with children and parents alike
- Ability to handle toddler care, infant care, and general childcare responsibilities in a lively environment
