The Director of Business Development at Bloom Healthcare is a strategic leadership role focused on driving sales management efforts and cultivating referral relationships within target markets to increase the overall census across Bloom’s business lines. This position involves overseeing a diverse team of Regional Practice Ambassadors and Practice Ambassadors while developing and executing comprehensive strategies to enhance referral partnerships and drive Bloom Healthcare’s culture of excellence.
As the Director of Business Development, your primary responsibilities will include hiring and managing Bloom’s sales teams, fostering and optimizing relationships with referral partners, achieving and exceeding sales goals and objectives, assisting with the launch and success of new markets, collaborating with internal departments to optimize customer service, developing and managing projects related to the sales team and the organization’s growth.

Director of Business Development Job Functions:
- Design and implement Bloom's market strategy to maximize outreach and engagement across multiple markets.
- Oversee and manage a team of Regional Practice Ambassadors and Practice Ambassadors, providing mentorship and guidance to drive performance and achieve sales targets.
- Supervise all respective call points within designated markets, including Assisted Living Facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Hospitals, and external care and referral partners (home health, hospice, etc.).
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual budget targets and quotas to ensure sustainable organizational growth.
- Recruit, interview, and hire Regional Practice Ambassadors and Practice Ambassadors for all markets, ensuring the team aligns with organizational goals and standards.
- One or more years of experience as a Regional Practice Ambassador
- Five or more years of sales team management
- Five or more years of experience in sales and marketing management within Assisted Living, Hospitals, Home Health, Hospice, or similar industries is essential.
- Proven track record of success in leadership roles, demonstrating the ability to achieve sales targets and drive team performance.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to assess market trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to work in the U.S.
- Salary range 140K-160K based on experience and tenure
