Employment Specialist/Coordinator for Pre-ETS Students
Bloom Consulting is seeking a passionate and dedicated Employment Specialist/Coordinator to join our Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) program in Helena, MT. This part-time, contract position offers a unique opportunity to empower students with disabilities as they develop workplace skills and navigate employment opportunities.
Position Details
- Title: Employment Specialist/Coordinator for Pre-ETS Students
- Location: Helena, MT
- Hours: 15-20 hours per week
- Salary: $20-$25/hour
- Start Date: May 1, 2026
- Supervisor: Christine Morrison
Responsibilities
- Set up and coordinate Work-Based Learning Experiences, Job shadows, and/or Informational Interviews with local employers.
- Support students as they practice workplace skills and navigate job expectations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local employers, addressing any concerns or behaviors that arise on-site.
- Market the program to businesses to create new employment opportunities for students.
- Document student progress and attend meetings with VRBS, School Liaisons, and employers as needed.
- Some travel in the greater Helena Area
- Training as required by the state of Montana
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is required.
- Proven ability to build connections with businesses and market programs is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with High Schools, students, employers, and stakeholders.
- Able to manage schedule and maintain case notes and other administrative tasks in a timely manner.
