Industrial Solutions Sales Representative

Drive sales growth by promoting and selling industrial equipment (positive displacement blowers, vacuum systems, pumps, and related products) to new and existing customers within an assigned territory or market segment. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing technical guidance and building long-term relationships to meet revenue and growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory/accounts
• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, distributors, and OEMs
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed quarterly/annual sales targets
• Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and contract terms
• Collaborate with engineering, service, and product teams to address customer technical requirements
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM
• Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer site visits as needed
• Willingness to learn and make use of available trainings
• Provide after-sales support and coordinate with service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Preffered but not required 3 years of experience in industrial/technical sales, in blowers, pumps, or fluid handling equipment
• Strong understanding of mechanical/industrial equipment and applications
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory (typically 30–50%) with travel compensation
• Valid driver's license

Preferred

• Experience with Gardner Denver or similar industrial equipment brands
• Existing network of industrial/distributor contacts
• Technical certifications related to compressed air, vacuum, or fluid transfer systems.

Based in Memphis, Tennessee, Blocker & Wallace Service is a Gardner Denver Factory Authorized Distributor, Repair, and Warranty Center serving the pneumatic conveying industry since 1975. We sell, design, package, and repair positive displacement blowers and vacuum pumps, including truck blowers. Our team works out of a large 53,000 sq feet dedicated facility with a full machine shop and blower test station, and we're known for combining technical expertise with practical, economical service.
