What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solutions Architect position at Block MB?
We’re working with a well-funded, high-growth technology company building advanced AI solutions used by global organisations. They are looking to hire a Solutions Architect to support their commercial team in designing and delivering technical solutions to customers.
You’ll act as the key technical partner in the pre-sales process - working closely with Sales to understand customer requirements, assess feasibility and design scalable solutions, particularly in edge and AI-driven environments.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities and define technical requirements
- Design scalable solutions across software, hardware, and edge deployments
- Lead technical discussions, demos, and proof of concepts
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on architecture, APIs and deployment
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to relay customer feedback
Requirements
- Experience as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar
- Background in AI, machine learning, computer vision, or IoT
- Experience with edge computing and distributed systems
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Programming experience (Python or JavaScript)
- Strong communication skills with customer-facing experience
