We are seeking an experienced Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys in all aspects of the litigation process. This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, depending on experience and availability. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of personal injury law, litigation procedures, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all stages of the litigation process, from case development to trial preparation.
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information and provide updates on case status.
- Draft various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Assist in the discovery processes, including document collection, review, and production.
- Schedule and coordinate depositions, mediations, medical exams, and court appearances.
- File legal documents with courts.
- Assist attorneys in trial preparation, creating trial binders, gathering evidence, and preparing exhibits.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal required.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong understanding of California civil litigation procedures and deadlines.
- Experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury, property damage, or landlord-tenant litigation matters.
- Habitability litigation experience is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff.
- Proficiency with legal case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
