We are looking for someone to work primarily mid week 7-2:30, with an occasional weekend. Some Holidays
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision
- Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions efficiently
- Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions and giving accurate change
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage prep stations, and seating areas
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Follow food safety standards and food handling procedures to ensure quality and hygiene
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling snacks or light food items
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in cleaning and food prep
- Basic understanding of beverage service, drink preparation, and retail sales transactions.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
