Part-Time Handyman (Non-Emergency Maintenance)
Location: Portland, Maine
Hours: ~10–20 hours per quarter (as needed)
We’re a locally owned barbershop in Portland, Maine, looking for a reliable, skilled part-time handyman to help keep our shop looking sharp and running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys flexible, project-based work and takes pride in quality craftsmanship.
What You’ll Do
- Handle non-emergency maintenance and repairs
- Interior painting, touch-ups, and sealing
- Basic plumbing repairs (leaks, fixtures, minor clogs)
- Repair and adjust barbershop chairs and related equipment
- Perform general upkeep to maintain a clean, professional space
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with light construction, painting, and basic plumbing
- Comfort working with mechanical equipment (especially chairs or similar)
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-minded
- Able to work independently and communicate clearly
- Licensed/insured a plus (but not required)
