Cabinetry Sales and Design
Primary Objective:
The Cabinetry Sales and Design role is a key sales position within the store, responsible for driving cabinet and countertop sales by providing expert design services, product knowledge, and outstanding customer support. This position actively promotes cabinetry solutions, builds long-term customer relationships, and partners with contractors and homeowners to grow revenue and ensure a positive buying experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Cabinetry and Countertop Sales
Actively engage with walk-in customers, contractors, and leads to grow sales and build your book of business.
- Design Layouts Using 20/20 Software
Create accurate, functional, and appealing cabinet layouts tailored to customer needs and budgets.
- Generate and Nurture Leads
Prospect new business, follow up on quotes, and re-engage past customers to increase sales opportunities.
- Attend Networking Events
Represent Bliffert at builder shows, trade events, organizations, and community functions to expand your network and promote cabinetry sales.
- Field Measure at Jobsites
Visit jobsites as needed to confirm cabinet dimensions and ensure proper fit prior to ordering.
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Experiences
Guide customers through product selection, quoting, ordering, and project completion with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Enter and Manage Quotes/ Orders
Prepare accurate quotes and sales orders; ensure timely processing and communication with customers.
- Collaborate on Project Completion
Coordinate with contractors, installers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution from order to install.
- Maintain Vendor Communication
Work closely with suppliers on order placement, timelines, and any issues that arise.
- Track and Fulfill Orders
Oversee the order process, ensuring timely fulfillment and keeping customers informed of status updates.
- Resolve Customer and Project Issues Promptly
Take ownership of problems and communicate solutions to customers and management.
- Uphold Professional Standards
Maintain confidentiality of pricing and project plans; represent Bliffert’s values with honesty and integrity.
- Follow All Safety Procedures
Report any injuries, hazards, or unsafe practices promptly.
- Other duties as assigned by the Cabinetry Sales Manager
Requirements:
- Experience in 20/20 CAD Design Software
- Strong communication and sales skills with a customer-first mindset
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
- May require occasional local travel within Southeastern Wisconsin
- Reports to Cabinetry Sales Manager
