Title Clerk

Specific Duties: (Duties including but not limited to)

• Maintains customer files

• Data entry of vehicle sales applications

• Book vehicles in & out of dealership inventory

• Maintain New York State Book of Registry

• Serves customers by answering phones and taking messages as well as answering customer questions

• Greet customers when they arrive in the showroom

• Assists in the execution of paperwork in vehicle deliveries

• Assists sales, office and service staff when needed

• All other duties as assigned

The title clerk is responsible for maintaining paperwork for all inventory (automobiles, campers, boats, ATVs, etc.). When vehicle arrive to our dealership, the title clerk "books them in". When they are sold, the title clerk "books them out". When a sale is made, the title clerk prepares all necessary paperwork.

Pay:

Pay is hourly based on experience. This is an entry level position with typical starting pay between $13.20 to $15.00 assuming no prior title clerk experience.

This is a full-time 40 hour/week position. Overtime is possible but uncommon. Hours are typically 8-5 or 9-6 depending on business need.
