*Responsibilities*
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
- Communicate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness at the host/host station and throughout the dining area.
- Assist in managing waitlists during busy periods while keeping guests informed of their wait times.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall guest experience.
*Qualifications*
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
- Familiarity with food service operations, particularly in a restaurant setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Experience with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and guest relations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
