Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver safe, effective, and enjoyable group exercise classes (e.g., strength training, yoga, cycling, Pilates, cardio).
- Provide clear instruction, proper exercise demonstration, and appropriate modifications for participants of varying abilities.
- Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled classes, maintaining a professional and engaging presence.
- Ensure the safety of participants by enforcing facility policies and monitoring proper equipment use.
- Foster a welcoming environment that encourages member participation, retention, and satisfaction.
- Represent Blessing Wellness Center positively by modeling healthy lifestyle practices and professionalism.
- Communicate promptly with the Wellness Center Manager regarding scheduling, participant feedback, or concerns.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Current group exercise or fitness certification from a nationally recognized organization (e.g., ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM, Yoga Alliance, Les Mills, etc.) required.
- CPR/AED certification required (or obtained within 30 days of contract).
- Prior experience instructing group fitness or wellness classes preferred.
- Strong communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse participants.
