This position is responsible for representing the organization in a courteous and efficient manner by demonstrating professional conduct and a positive attitude. This position will maintain patient account information, schedule patient appointments, process mail, and maintain reception area. This position conducts professional patient interviews obtaining demographic, financial, and biographical information. The Clinic Patient Access Rep is responsible for obtaining information to appropriately bill payers, verify patient insurance eligibility, confirm benefits eligibility, collect point of service payments, and gather statistical information in compliance with federal and state regulations.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services Health System. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals and direction of the Performance Improvement goals.

Education/Training/Experience
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- High School Diploma required.
- Computer literacy required, including the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other office products
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills.
- Two years in a physician office setting.
