Job Description Office Administrative Assistant
An office administrative assistant’s duties may change on a week-to-week basis. Duties revolve around managing and distributing information within group practice. This generally includes clerical tasks, scheduling, communication, and filing. He/she will assist visitors to the office and answer phones. He/she will complete new client screening and/or intake by telephone or in person. He/she will receive and process referrals and schedule appointments. He will take memos and maintain computer and manual file systems (HIPAA & within state and governed policies and procedures). Administrative assistants will oversee the maintenance of EMR and clients’ medical records. He/she will prepare and manage documents, create, send, and receive correspondence. He/she will greet clients and uphold the day-to-day operations of the practice.
This position is flexible and needs a motivated professional administrative assistant to be comfortable with engaging/supporting clients with mental health and substance use diagnoses.
Must complete phone Interview/screening questions before a face-to-face interview. Admin Experience in Mental Health or/and/or home health services is a Must!

This position will be ONLY awarded to individuals who have experience as an Administrative Assistant in mental health services or/and home health services (must be familiar with working with manual and computer medical records-EMR (i.e., currently using Checkpoint or other software), scheduling, and can multitask. Those skills make you feel you are an ideal candidate for a position as an Admin Assistant at a mental health or home health services private practice.
Education:
High school/Associate/bachelor's degree
Experience:
Administrative experience in a Mental Health or/and home health services Facility: 1 year at least

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
