The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President of Business Intelligence to lead and significantly grow our Business Intelligence practice. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader who can not only oversee our BI engagements and delivery but also actively shape our offerings, drive new business, and build high-performing, client-facing teams. You will be instrumental in translating complex data into actionable insights, fostering deep client relationships, and ensuring Blend360 remains at the forefront of data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Do:

• Strategic Leadership & Practice Growth:
  • Define and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Business Intelligence practice, identifying market opportunities and developing innovative offerings to drive significant growth.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align BI strategies with overall business objectives and identify new data-driven opportunities and challenges.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Business Intelligence, incorporating them into our solutions and offerings.
• Client Engagement & Partnership:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and key stakeholders, understanding their business goals and translating them into impactful BI solutions.
  • Lead high-stakes client engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, actionable insights that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Present complex analytical findings and strategic recommendations to diverse client audiences with clarity and conviction.
• Team Building & Management:
  • Build, lead, mentor, and inspire a world-class team of BI Engineers, Data/Reporting Analysts, and Solution Strategists.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence within the BI practice, empowering team members to grow and thrive.
  • Develop talent, implement best practices, and optimize team structures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of BI solutions.
• Solution Development & Delivery Oversight:
  • Oversee the end-to-end development and implementation of robust Business Intelligence solutions, including data warehousing, ETL processes, data modeling, and advanced data visualization.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with data governance standards across all BI initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Science, Data Engineering, and other practice areas to deliver integrated and holistic client solutions.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, with a significant portion in a leadership or strategic consulting role.
• Proven track record of successfully building, scaling, and leading analytics consulting or Business Intelligence teams.
• Demonstrable experience in developing new service offerings and driving significant revenue growth within a professional services or consulting environment.
• Exceptional client-facing skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships, understand complex business challenges, and deliver impactful solutions.
• Deep expertise in various Business Intelligence tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, ThoughtSpot, Qlik, etc.).
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, etc.).
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a closely related quantitative field. Master's degree preferred.
