Role Overview
This role would require night shifts (1pm - 9pm).
We’re hiring a Compounding Pharmacy Technician in Columbus, Ohio to help us build something special.
This role is central to everything we do, ensuring that each formulation meets the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and care.
You’ll be joining a team that moves fast, solves problems together, and takes pride in doing exceptional work. We’re looking for someone who:

- Compounding experience preferred but not required
As one of the first technicians on the team, you’ll help define the standards, workflows, and culture of our compounding operations.
Responsibilities
- Compound a wide range of non-sterile medications (creams, ointments, suspensions, capsules, suppositories) following established formulas and SOPs.
- Precisely weigh, measure, and mix ingredients using balances, mixers, and homogenizers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace; regularly sanitize and calibrate equipment.
- Document all compounding activities thoroughly, including ingredients, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
- Support inventory management: order supplies, receive shipments, and check raw materials for quality.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines, including USP <795> and USP <800> standards and HIPAA.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients with questions, processing prescription orders, and handling payments.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and a positive work environment.
- Prepare and package finished prescriptions for shipment to patients, ensuring accuracy, proper labeling, and quality presentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active Pharmacy Technician license/registration in Ohio.
- Strong mathematical aptitude for calculating dosages, concentrations, and weights.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to operate compounding equipment and handle small components.
