Key Responsibilities:

• Work safely and maintain equipment safety.
• Primary owner of manufacturing operations (including maintenance) and facilities/asset management.
• Work in conjunction with Production Supervisors to improve and manage day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant.
• Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with laboratory, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to optimize production processes and resolve issues.
• Responsible for improvement projects and capital projects to ensure capacities and capabilities are aligned with company growth.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity/efficiency, reduce waste, improve quality, and improve safety/ergonomics.
• Implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, especially safety and environmental.
• Manage the maintenance process for assigned plant.
• Manage the plant budget, including cost control and resource allocation, to achieve financial targets.
• Primary owner of staff development.
• Prepare and present regular reports on plant performance, including production output, safety incidents, and operational challenges, to senior management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required hands-on, technical, or other types of training to perform the job:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the chemical industry or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Chlor-alkali experience
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
