What are the responsibilities and job description for the Creator Partnerships Manager position at BLD?
About Us
BLD is a performance-driven company built by operators who believe marketing should generate real, measurable outcomes. We work at the intersection of the creator economy, paid media, and publishing, partnering with brands and creators to drive campaigns that go beyond awareness and deliver meaningful results.
Founded in 2025, we’re a fast-growing startup that has already supported 600 creators and affiliates in generating sustainable income through performance-driven partnerships. We’re growing quickly and looking for a Creator Partnerships Manager to own creator relationships, drive performance, and scale revenue across our creator network.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll work directly with creators, guiding how offers and brands are promoted so campaigns feel authentic while driving measurable performance and sustainable revenue over time. You’ll own creator relationships end-to-end, ensuring they stay long term, continue growing with us, and improve profitability quarter over quarter through strong communication, optimization, and trust.
You’ll partner closely with Creator Partnerships Coordinators, who support sourcing, outreach, and execution, allowing you to focus on relationship ownership, deal-making, and performance growth.
Build your career in the inner circle of the creator economy, working on premium campaigns, earning performance-based commission, and gaining experience you cannot get in a typical 9–5. This is a fast-moving, hands-on role designed for people who want real responsibility, true ownership, and the flexibility to step in during high-impact moments, even outside normal business hours.
What You’ll Do
- Own creator relationships end-to-end, acting as the primary point of contact for creators
- Negotiate deals, compensation structures, and campaign terms with creators
- Guide creators on content strategy, positioning, and performance optimization
- Identify high-value creator niches and opportunities in collaboration with coordinators
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align creator activity with client goals
- Drive creator revenue, retention, and long-term growth across campaigns
- Monitor creator performance and adjust strategy to improve outcomes
- Share best practices around content strategy, messaging, and performance angles internally
- Support and mentor coordinators by providing guidance on outreach quality, creator qualification, and performance insights
- Travel as needed for conferences, events, and on-site activations
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of experience working in the influencer, performance, or affiliate marketing space
- Experience managing partnerships, accounts, or campaigns in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable in a startup setting and shaping how things get done
- Deep understanding of major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube), the creator economy, and trends
- Strong ability to build and maintain long-term creator relationships while staying focused on performance and outcomes
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple creators, campaigns, and priorities simultaneously
- Proactive team player who values collaboration, welcomes feedback, and can work autonomously
- Strong communicator with a persuasive, relationship-driven mindset; confident negotiating directly with creators
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment that may require evenings or weekends to support time-sensitive creator posts and campaign launches
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Nice to Have
- Perfectionist who takes pride in producing precise, polished, and error-free work
- Scrappy hustler mentality that’s action-oriented and problem-solving
- Experience managing people while also operating as an individual contributor
- Social chameleon who can adapt to different creator personalities and knows when to be hands-on vs. hands-off
- Excels at handling difficult conversations, including addressing objections, negotiating, and retaining creators in adverse or competitive situations
- Strong proficiency with contracts and spreadsheets, and the ability to use performance data to improve outcomes
- Preferably based in NYC or FL
Compensation
$70,000 – $80,000 base salary uncapped performance-based commission. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including (but not limited to) location, experience, and performance. Total compensation will scale with the results you drive.
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $160,000 – $230,000
Top performers who consistently drive strong creator performance and revenue growth can significantly exceed these ranges.
What We Offer:
- Competitive base salary with uncapped performance-based commission upside
- A high-growth environment where your impact is visible and immediate
- Flexible time off with inclusive paid holiday benefits
- Close collaboration with leadership and exposure to real performance outcomes
- An opportunity to grow alongside a team building something from the ground up
