Teacher's Aide - Worcester, Massachusetts

Step into a meaningful full-time contract opportunity supporting high school students in a vibrant educational setting near Worcester, MA. This role offers 32.5 hours per week, beginning ASAP and tentatively continuing through June 15, 2027, with the possibility of extension if a permanent placement is not made internally. You’ll be joining a collaborative team, focusing on high school aged students with behavioral needs in a dynamic school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Active license or certification in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of one year of school-based paraprofessional experience.
• Strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), specializing in managing behaviors.
• Open to working either 1:1 with students or in classroom settings as needed.
• Present as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT); RBT candidates should note that district supervision is not provided.
• Completion of CORI and fingerprinting required.
• Preference for credentialed candidates.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated support to high school students on caseload, adapting to both individual and group needs.
• Implement behavioral interventions using ABA principles to promote student learning and engagement.
• Collaborate with teachers and instructional teams to support student success and well-being.
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with educational plans.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning atmosphere.
