The assignment runs from now until June 18, 2027, with a steady weekday schedule from 8:15 am to 3:00 pm.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional in schools
- Expertise working with children in DD, ASD, or behavior-focused classrooms
- Ability to foster supportive, inclusive, and positive environments for all students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with classroom teachers and staff
- Certification related to Paraprofessional support (please have a copy ready)
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students requiring additional help
- Maintain a safe and structured classroom environment
- Help manage behavioral needs and encourage productive participation
- Support students’ academic, social, and self-regulation skills throughout the school day
- Document observations and coordinate with educational team members as necessary
