Were seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join a supportive school-based team in Denton, Texas. This full-time, onsite role provides the opportunity to help students develop communication, language, and academic skills to reach their full potential.
Position Details:
Location: Denton, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time | Local W-2 or Travel Contract
Schedule: MondayFriday, 3540 hours/week
Dates: ASAP End of School Year
Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student communication and academic success.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications:
Active Texas DHH teaching license (or eligibility to obtain).
Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
