Occupational Therapist School Setting - West Hartford, CT

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time occupational therapy position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, covering a leave from December 15, 2025, to March 20, 2026. This role is based in West Hartford, CT, serving a K-12 school environment with a caseload that includes both elementary and high school students.Responsibilities:Provide school-based occupational therapy services to students across K-12 levels.Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student development.Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and monitor student progress.Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies.Qualifications:Active occupational therapy license in Connecticut is required.Proven school-based experience, preferably working with both elementary and high school populations.Completion of district fingerprinting and background checks.Ability to participate in a Zoom interview as part of the selection process.Licenses should be submitted upfront for consideration.Schedule and Location:Full-time position with 35 hours per week.Start date: December 15, 2025; End date: March 20, 2026.Location: West Hartford, CT.This contract role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes in a dynamic school setting.
