We are seeking four dedicated paraprofessionals to support students in an elementary school setting located in Rochester, NH. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a Title 1 school environment, assisting students with diverse learning needs and fostering academic growth in a collaborative atmosphere.
Location: Rochester, NH
Contract Duration: Immediate start through June 15, 2026
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 32.5 hours per week (Full-Time Equivalent)
School Hours: Student arrival 8:05 - 8:20 a.m.; Dismissal at 3:05 p.m.
Qualifications:
- An associates degree OR equivalent college credits OR current para 2 certification from the state
- Experience working with young learners in educational settings, preferably in Title 1 schools
- Availability to commit through the contract period
- Three professional references required, including at least two supervisors
Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering instruction and managing student behavior
- Support students individually or in small groups to enhance their academic performance
- Help prepare instructional materials and maintain a positive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and staff
