Make an impact in the lives of students by providing essential speech-language services throughout the 2026-2027 school year. Full-time opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists who hold both a Washington state SLP license and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification. You will be supporting students across elementary and secondary levels, working in-person at vibrant campuses in the Poulsbo area.
Your expertise will directly support students’ communication and academic success throughout the academic calendar, from August 31, 2026 to June 17, 2027.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Current Washington state SLP license
- Valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a manageable caseload of up to 45 students at the secondary level, or 42 at the elementary level
- Assess, plan, and deliver speech and language therapy services to students with a range of needs
- Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Document progress and maintain thorough records in accordance with state and district requirements
- Provide resources and education for staff and caregivers as needed
