Make a difference in the lives of students as a Speech Language Pathologist, working on-site in the vibrant Washington DC metropolitan area. We are seeking dedicated professionals with a passion for supporting communication development in school-aged children. Immediate openings are available, and interviews for this contract opportunity will take place on April 27, 2026. The assignment runs from the earliest start date through June 17, 2026, with a 35-hour work week and schools/caseload details to be determined.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current, active Maryland SLP license (images of licensure required for credentialing)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered
- Prior experience in a school setting is valued but not mandatory
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage flexible caseloads and adapt to various age groups
- Willingness to complete prescreen interviews (please indicate available times between 9-11 a.m. or 2-3 p.m. EST; some flexibility possible)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and a multidisciplinary team
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students to reach their communication goals
- Work across multiple school settings as assigned
