Key Qualifications:
- Holds a valid PA School Social Worker Certificate
- Experience working in school settings or with youth populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to fostering positive student outcomes
- Reliable transportation to both McMurray and Waynesburg campuses
Your Impact:
- Provide direct support and interventions for a caseload of approximately 12 students
- Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaged learning environment
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized strategies, and track student progress
- Serve as an advocate and resource for students and families, connecting them with needed services
- Support classroom teachers in navigating challenges to student participation and well-being
- Maintain confidential records and collaborate on program planning
Position Details:
- Contract commitment: June 18 – July 17, 2026 (with inservice on June 18)
- Daily hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (schedule adjustments possible)
- Serve onsite at both McMurray and Waynesburg campuses
- Work only 19 days, leaving afternoons and evenings free
