Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Washington SLP license in good standing
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) credential for WA State
- Successful completion of OSPI fingerprinting/background check
- Previous experience in a school-based environment is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals
- Manage a caseload capped at 48 students, though it may flex higher depending on annual needs (typically 48-60)
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in relevant meetings
- Model effective intervention strategies and provide training/resources for staff as necessary
