Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a high school setting located in Springfield, MA. This role is a contract opportunity for the current school year (CSY), providing essential assistance in delivering speech and language services under the supervision of certified speech-language pathologists.Key Responsibilities:Assisting with the implementation of individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments.Conducting speech therapy sessions as directed.Tracking and documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records.Collaborating with school staff to support student communication goals.Assisting with the preparation of materials and resources for therapy sessions.Qualifications:Valid SLPA certification or relevant training.Experience working in school settings preferred.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families.Familiarity with speech-language disorders common in school-aged children.Location:Springfield, MA (High School environment).This contract role for the current school year offers the chance to make a positive impact on student communication development.
