Qualifications:
- Current CT Educator Certification required
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
- Previous experience in a K-12 setting strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with diverse grade levels and adapting to varying student needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and behavioral outcomes
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Promote culturally responsive practices to foster an inclusive school climate
- Maintain thorough and confidential records to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
