School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) in Corona, CA

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1 years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Three contract LVN positions are available supporting students from Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade, working full-time hours within a collaborative team dedicated to student health and safety. The assignments are onsite and offer the reward of truly meaningful work every day.

Key Qualifications:

• Active LVN licensure required
• Ventilator experience and certification required for the 1:1 kindergarten case
• Proficiency with trach, G-tube, oxygen therapy, and diabetic care preferred for general roles
• Compassion, reliability, and a commitment to student-centered care
• Able to carry portable ventilator equipment and assist with transportation needs for specific student assignments
• Team player comfortable collaborating with RNs, educators, and other school staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one nursing care for a kindergarten student with a trach/vent (including bus transportation), or support multiple students requiring complex health procedures
• Monitor and assist students needing G-tube feedings, tracheostomy care, oxygen use, seizure precautions, and diabetes management
• Implement doctors’ orders and work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure student safety and success
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care provided
• Ensure compliance with all school and nursing policies
• Exhibit empathy, patience, and resourcefulness in a bustling school environment
