Make a real impact this summer by providing essential speech-language services to students during Extended School Year programming. Skilled and compassionate SLPs are needed to deliver high-quality support from July 6th through August 14th, working Monday through Thursday, 8:30am-12:00pm. This contract position offers a focused schedule—14 hours a week—allowing you to enjoy summer while helping students strengthen their communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with diverse student populations and IEP processes
- Ability to design and adapt therapy to individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Deliver direct therapy services aligned with students’ IEPs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress and session outcomes
- Communicate effectively with families and school staff to promote student success
- Participate in team meetings as needed during the ESY session
