What you’ll bring:
- Active Illinois Paraprofessional certification
- At least 2 years of experience supporting students in a school classroom
- Strong ability to work with elementary-aged children, especially those with challenging behaviors
- Previous experience with toileting support preferred
- Adaptability and positive attitude in a dynamic educational setting
- Two professional references, including name, contact number, and email address
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing classroom and instructional support to teachers
- Delivering individualized assistance to students, including 1:1 support
- Assisting with classroom management and facilitating engaging learning experiences
- Offering toileting and self-care assistance to students as needed
