Blazer is seeking an experienced Cut Shop Carpenter to join our Production team! π οΈ What Youβll Do:
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and measurements.
- Accurately measure, cut, and prepare materials for walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components.
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and efficiently.
- Build and assemble components according to production standards and project requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Load, unload, and handle construction materials safely.
- Complete work accurately while meeting production schedules and quality standards.
- Assist with training and supporting less experienced team members.
- Help identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and workflow.
β What We're Looking For:
- Previous carpentry, construction, manufacturing, or cut shop experience.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, measuring techniques, and shop practices.
- Experience working with saws, drills, routers, nailers, and other carpentry tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and safety awareness.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to learn new equipment and processes as needed.
