Position Details:
- Full-time and Part-time opportunities available
- Caseload: K–12 students
- Contract position for the upcoming school year
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Evaluate students to identify physical, sensory, and motor needs that impact educational performance
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student success
- Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (if applicable)
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and classroom strategies
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Alabama Occupational Therapist License
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
