Assistant Manager – Blaze Pizza

Blaze Pizza is looking for an energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team. The Assistant Manager will support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations while helping lead the team, provide excellent guest service, and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with the daily operation of the restaurant.
• Lead and motivate team members during shifts.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Ensure food quality, preparation, and presentation meet Blaze Pizza standards.
• Monitor food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Manage cash handling and register procedures.
• Help maintain appropriate staffing and coordinate team members during busy periods.
• Train and coach new and existing employees.
• Monitor inventory and help minimize food waste.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
• Assist with scheduling and other administrative duties as needed.
• Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
• Step in and perform all restaurant positions when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food service, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous management or leadership experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy periods.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties required in a restaurant.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Schedule

This is a full-time Assistant Manager position. Availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Compensation

Pay: Negotiated $per hour, based on experience.
