The Role
The Project Scheduler role is an integral function that reports to the BIS Director of Core Projects. This role is responsible for assessing the enterprise resource demand, and managing a system that provides adequate project portfolio schedule overview, and thereby supporting proper resource allocation. Work closely with HOD’s (Heads of Departments) to ensure all necessary inputs are taken into account for the Master Schedule.
- Create and manage a system that properly communicates the resource demand
- Communicate effectively with project team members and other relevant parties. This includes defining communication protocols, assisting in project meetings when necessary, and providing timely updates on project data
- Maintain and monitor progress tracking within a project
- Facilitate regular schedule and resource reviews
Work Environment
- Open Floor Plan office with highly levels of collaboration without private offices.
Work Schedule
- Standard Monday – Friday Office Hours
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in project controls, project scheduling, project management, or related roles.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
