Foster Lake & Pond Management (FLPM) is looking for a dedicated, high-energy Service Manager to join our Jacksonville team. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for managing high-value client relationships, overseeing a team of Technicians and Associate Service Managers (ASMs), and ensuring the ecological health and compliance of our clients' aquatic systems.

If you are a problem-solver who enjoys working outdoors, leading a team, and providing elite customer service, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As the Service Manager, you are the face of FLPM for our clients. You will manage a large portfolio of accounts, ensuring all Annual Service Agreements are executed with precision. You aren’t just managing accounts; you are mentoring the next generation of aquatic experts and upholding the gold standard of stormwater and pond management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account & Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing detailed service reports and ensuring all compliance issues are communicated within 2 business days.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise, train, and provide oversight for Technicians and Associate Service Managers. Conduct bi-annual performance reviews and lead on-site assessments to foster professional growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Utilize CRM tools to track repairs and compliance. Ensure all Certified Annual Inspections are scheduled and completed well ahead of regulatory deadlines.
  • Technical Expertise: Lead the installation of fish structures, fountains, aeration systems, and plantings. Audit service accounts monthly to ensure quality control.
  • Sales & Growth: Act as a subject matter expert for FLPM products and services. Identify repair or enhancement opportunities to improve the client’s aquatic environment.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Associate degree or experience in Environmental Management, Fisheries Science, or Stormwater Maintenance preferred.
  • Experience: Proven background in aquatic vegetation management, fountain/aeration maintenance, and boat operation/trailering.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead a team with kindness, respect, and accountability.
  • Licensing: Must possess a Florida Aquatic Pesticide Application license (or be able to obtain it) and a valid Driver’s License with a clean record.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software and general business apps; ability to operate hand tools, small equipment, and pumps.
Physical Requirements
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments (water, mud, etc.).
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical activity, including swimming and lifting up to 80 lbs.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Our Core Values

At FLPM, we hire for character. We are looking for individuals who embody:

  • Integrity: Doing the right thing even when no one is watching.
  • Accountability: Taking personal ownership of your team’s results.
  • Passion: A genuine desire to be the best in the industry.
  • Teamwork: Helping others succeed and having fun while doing it.
