Bland County Public Schools is seeking a reliable and motivated Second Shift Custodian for Bland County Elementary School. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Duties and Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, cafeteria, and common areas

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors

Empty trash and recycling and properly dispose of waste

Restock restrooms and cleaning supplies as needed

Assist with setup and cleanup for school events and activities

Follow established safety, cleaning, and sanitation procedures

Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred

Custodial or related experience preferred, but not required

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
