The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the thorough laundering and sanitation of linens, towels, and other textiles used throughout the facility, contributing directly to the health and comfort of residents and staff.

Qualifications:Essential Functions:
- Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines, in accordance with facility procedures.
- Sort soiled linens and resident clothing by color, fabric type, and care instructions to ensure proper handling.
- Pre-treat stains and complete minor repairs to linens and garments as needed.
- Load and unload laundry machines safely and efficiently while following safety guidelines.
- Monitor and adjust wash and dry cycles to ensure linens are properly cleaned, sanitized, and dried.
- Fold, label, and organize clean linens and resident clothing for accurate distribution.
- Inspect laundered items for cleanliness and quality, removing any items that do not meet facility standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry area in compliance with infection control and safety regulations.
- Follow all infection prevention protocols to protect the health and well-being of residents and staff.
- Assist with tracking inventory levels and ordering laundry supplies as needed.
- Communicate and collaborate with nursing, housekeeping, and other team members to ensure timely delivery of clean linens to resident care areas.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support daily operations and resident care.
Schedule: 3:00pm-11:30pm
Education and Experience Required:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
