What a Blakeford Maintenance Tech Does:
- Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment according to manufacturer’s recommendations and operation manual.
- Perform maintenance repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, etc
- Assist inspectors and contractors in the testing, inspection, or repair of equipment, building and mechanical systems and structure
- Respond to fire, smoke, and panic alarms
- Keep maintenance shop and storage areas neat and orderly
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Participate in on-call rotation (one Saturday per month)
*This is a temporary assignment covering a leave of absence*
Schedule is Mon - Fri (and one Saturday per month) from 7 am - 4 pm

- High school diploma or GED (Graduate of accredited technical school preferred);
- A minimum of two years' hands-on maintenance and/or mechanical experience; and
- Valid driver’s license
- HVAC certification is a plus!
