Legal Assistant

Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to an existing attorney.
- Manage file organization and maintain accurate digital and physical records.
- Handle telephone communications and client inquiries with professionalism.
- Utilize computers for word processing, drafting correspondence, and office tasks.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all matters within the law firm.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Previous office or clerical work is required. Prior experience in a legal setting is preferred, but we are willing to train a candidate with a strong administrative background.
- Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail is essential for managing legal files and documentation.
- Education: High school degree or equivalent is required. A two-year or four-year college degree is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers, typing, and word processing is essential.
- Professionalism: Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor in an office setting.
