What You'll Be Doing
- Design, implement, and test electronic circuits and firmware for signage, LED lighting, and related products.
- Develop schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools.
- Assist in evaluating field returns, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to product improvements.
- Support product requirement documentation and customer-facing product materials.
- Collaborate with Customer Support, Manufacturing, and Service teams to ensure product quality and performance.
- Learn and apply embedded systems fundamentals, serial communication protocols, and design-for-manufacturing principles.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Hands-on experience with PCB design, circuit prototyping, and soldering (through-hole and SMD).
- Familiarity with C or C# programming; knowledge of embedded firmware development a plus.
- Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP) and serial communication (UART, SPI, I2C).
- Strong troubleshooting skills using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail, curiosity, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
