What You'll Be Doing
As a Production Supervisor, you'll oversee day-to-day operations to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to company standards. Responsibilities include:
Safety
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Monitor, support, and enforce company safety policies and practices
- Ensure adherence to company quality standards and procedures
- Identify and correct deviations from specifications
- Develop and implement process improvements
- Participate in new hire interviews and selection
- Coordinate and provide training for assigned employees
- Deliver timely feedback and coaching; conduct interim and annual performance evaluations
- Monitor and enforce company policies; approve PTO and time-off requests
- Represent and promote the company's values and culture
- Participate in routine production meetings
- Communicate daily work schedules and output requirements
- Plan and assign work to maintain efficient flow between departments
- Support department goals and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Paint experience is a plus, but not required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
- Strong knowledge of production processes and safety practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize work efficiently
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ERP systems
- Demonstrates teamwork, dependability, and sound decision-making
- Manufacturing environment with equipment and moving mechanical parts
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and arms
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
