The Estate Team Leader will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless management of our healthcare estate, focusing on maintaining high standards of facility management, compliance, and health & safety regulations. This role demands a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on leadership, where the successful candidate will lead a diverse team to optimize operational efficiencies. The closest station will be Harrogate (HG1) postcode. The working hours will be 8-4 & 37.5 hours a week. The salary will be a band 6.

JOB DUTIES
Carry out the role of Authorised Person (AP) for a range of engineering systems.
Diagnosing and repairing faults in a range of systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building services.
Importance of adhering to safety protocols while working in hazardous areas.
Oversee risk management, ensuring proactive measures are in place to mitigate potential issues related to the estate.
To actively take part in the operation and control of the engineering planned maintenance scheme.
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Served a recognised and registered trade apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ (Essencial)
HNC (Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) or equivalent (essential)
Asbestos Awareness certification or willing to undertake such training.(Essential)
Team leader/Supervisor qualification. (Desirable)
Previous experience of CAFM software. ( Desirable)
Previous supervisory skills in a similar environment.
Partake in an out of hours call out rota that provides emergency maintenance cover.
Good working knowledge of health & Safety.(Essential)
Excellent communication skills. Both written and verbal. Sound knowledge of construction and engineering techniques.
4 years post apprenticeship experience in service/testing/maintaining complicated electrical/mechanical equipment.(Essential)
