We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Accounting Assistant with strong bookkeeping experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will support our finance team by ensuring accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and managing accounts payable and purchasing activities through our internal system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an accurate trial balance and support full-cycle bookkeeping activities.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are correctly recorded.
- Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders within the company's internal financial system.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate allocation of expenses.
- Prepare reports and documentation as needed for audits or management review.
Qualifications:
- Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction or related industry.
