Job Description:
The Program Manager is responsible for managing 80 employees and subcontractor personnel team for an End User Services federal government contract. This contract focuses on the operations and maintenance of standard desktop equipment configurations, security protection, and field support, including audio-visual (AV) and video conference enhancements; AV and video conference collaboration, service, and Innovation Center management; AV and video conference hybrid meeting and webcast support; AV and video conference webcast lifecycle support; AV and video conference Agile Product Team management; and warehouse operations management, while streamlining processes and procedures with a cloud first objective.
The Program Manager will oversee a team that supports approximately 13,000 federal personnel. The team supports 18,000 laptop/desktop computers used by government personnel and contractors. The warehouse contains 200 different types of information technology (IT) items, with approximately 11,000 items tracked and approximately 20,000 items currently stored. The team receives, ships, tracks, maintains, repair, and/or disposes of IT hardware.
The Program Manager is the main point of contact for the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and other federal program management personnel. The Program Manager is the senior employee assigned to the contract and is ultimately responsible for successful execution and performance under the contract.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all program activities, including cost estimating/reporting, financial management, subcontractor management, deliverables scheduling/reporting, and expenditure tracking.
- Manage operational activities focusing on multiple internal and external teams (desktop management, AV systems administration, warehouse operations, telework coordination, and IT equipment deployment support) to ensure efficiency and compliance with company and client standards.
- Participate in Program Reviews with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and Federal Project Manager contributing to program evaluation and strategy discussions.
- Create and update operational policies to provide leadership to the entire team.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive management policies for all program areas, ensuring alignment with organizational and client objectives.
- Manage and analyze program invoices resolving discrepancies prior to customer submission.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of deliverables, adhering to client and company quality standards.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree Business, Administration, Management, or technical-related field.
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience managing large Federal government technical programs.
- PMP or comparable project management certifications are highly desirable.
- Mission focused while building strong rapport and trust with federal customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communications, capable of effectively communicating with a diverse range of technical and management customers.
- Skilled leader who can coordinate multiple work streams and priorities in a hybrid work environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills - a skilled business professional who communicates effectively with all levels of end-users and management.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
- Experience in warehouse management with sensitive electronics is highly desirable.
