Role: Audiovisual (AV) Technician - III (Construction Background)
Location: Spokane, WA (Relocation Assistance Available)
Salary: $28 – $40/hour
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 4 years of AV/IT system installation experience.
- WA EL06 Limited Energy License (required).
- Certification for powder-actuated tools.
- Proficient with AV/IT tools, lifts, scaffolding, hoists, pulleys, and power tools.
- Knowledge of cable pulling, wiring, terminations, and low-voltage codes.
- Basic computer skills (Windows, MS Office).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders/scaffolding, and work in varied positions.
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently or in teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead AV/IT installation crews and assign work priorities.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on installation practices.
- Perform cable pulling, wire terminations, and AV equipment setup.
- Install and configure AV systems (displays, projectors, speakers, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with safety codes and project specifications.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, and labor hours.
- Act as primary contact between crew and project leadership.
- Maintain documentation, as-built drawings, and site cleanliness.
- Safeguard tools, equipment, and materials.
- Attend site construction and safety meetings as needed.
- Follow OSHA and company safety standards.
- Maintain 85% billable workload with engineering/technical contributions.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
